I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Audible (Newark, NJ) in Jun 2015
Interview
I had 2 phone interviews. First interview with Senior Manager went well. It seemed like he was reading standard interview questions. Second interview was with another Manager. She was asking standard questions and said that she herself was hired about 2 months ago. She could not concentrate on her questions and was very distracted. Gradually during the interview she was discovering that I had a lot more experience than her and by the end of the interview it was clear that there will be no offer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Audible (Newark, NJ) in Sept 2014
Interview
There were two interviews. First consisted of two people – my Design director and Senior User Experience Designer. Second one involved same Design Director as well as head of UX department. They asked me a series of questions and took a detailed look at my portfolio, while also talking about the company and describing inner workings of the department. During the second interview they showed me where creative department was situated and the type of projects they were working on at the time.
