The communication via email was great, I was very impressed with that. The problem laid within the manager I spoke to. He was low energy, I would speak, and he would repeat back to me what he thought I said. But it wasn't at all what I had spoken about. He clearly wasn't listening. When I asked my first question, he answered it in 30 seconds and then rambled on about his vision for 20 minutes, leaving no time for other questions. The follow-up email also had a generic response that "we hired someone who met our immediate needs. This is even though the first person I interviewed with told me I was the only candidate at the moment, and the reply was the day after my interview. So someone was dishonest in that process.
