I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ADDI (São Paulo, São Paulo) in Nov 2020
Interview
The whole process is well guided and explained by the recruiter. The first step is a talk with the recruiter about the opportunity and to get to know me.
Second step is an interview with the Engineering Manager. It is just a conversation to get to know you better, the company, the team and challenges you will face if you join the team, technologies, etc.
After that, the next step is the take-home exercise. It is not difficult, pay attention to the instructions and be prepared to explain how you solve the problem. That’s the most important part.
Next, the technical interview focus on your take-home exercise. The questions were about the test, the decisions I took to solve the problem, what I could’ve done better, patterns and concepts used.
Finally, two final interviews: the first with the general manager and the second with the CEO. These interviews are more behavioral interviews and to understand your motivations, how you deal with aome situations.
The process might look a long process, but it is quite fast and you get constant feedback about which step you are.
