I had a very disorganised experience during my recent interview process with 2K. Despite completing two technical tasks, I initially received only generic template feedback, which provided no real insights into my performance or areas for improvement.
Furthermore, the guidelines for the data analysis task were misleading. Initially, I was informed that I could use any software of my choice for the task. However, five days after submission, I was suddenly asked to redo the entire task in Excel. This not only showed a total disregard for my time but also highlighted serious communication issues within the recruitment team.
The icing on the cake was the requested feedback. The response highlighted a lack of detailed insights from the data analysis task, which from what was expected was a clear data mining project that had nothing to do with the role. Other technical invented requirements such as cleaning the dataset ( which didn't contain any statistical lack or wrong data format, the data were perfectly fine), made the feedback even more ridiculous.
Overall, the process seemed poorly managed and lacked professionalism, which was disappointing from a company of 2K’s stature.
