What Employees Say
I worked at Wurth USA full-time for more than 8 years
Work from home, company car or allowance. Best chemicals in the industry. This is where it ends.
I worked for Wurth nineteen years and came to realize that they were never going to let the TM make a decent living. The inside upper management did much better and always will. They change the... commission structure almost yearly. Territory reps never have a chance. Now with the I pad they see your every move all day. If you are lucky a new rep might make forty to forty five thousand gross. Nobody can live on that kind of money. In my territory they gave the management position to the only person who applied. The other seven did not even look at this as a good move. The turnover is ridiculous. About 33% leave yearly. If you are stuck in a dead end job, take there 50K. You will not see most of it. After around six months your pay will be based on performance. Do 65% of your quota, you will get 65% of your guarantee. Only about 15 to 20 salespeople make 85K plus. When they ask you to attend a sales meeting you will not be paid for your time. This is for free. When I started in 2000 there was a different management and one could make between 70 and 90k. They will never let that happen today. You will be stuck as 40K for ever.
Advice to Management
Get over yourself and let the sales force make a decent living. As long as the Germans pull the strings this company will constantly be looking for new help.
