I worked at Technorati full-time for more than a year

Pros

Nice environment. Lots of food and drinks. Excellent view of downtown SF. Loved those hotcakes!

Cons

Waste of resources and money. Absurd expenses in nonsense things. Lack of confidence in their employees. Lots of time consuming and boring meetings.

Advice to Management

Instead of wasting money in video arcades, tread mills or billiard tables, should have given away in gift cards to employees. All that money waste was one of the reason of their debacle.

Cons

Don't know where to start. Management doesn't like suggestions, even when they asked for it. There is always a person roaming around with target on their back. It's managers job to make the person... either quit or fire them. Once the person is gone, they move to the next person. They take pride in hiring new immigrants/new grads, stating that no one else wanted you in the industry so be thankful for the opportunity we are giving you. Pay is low and they promise a 5K jump, which never happens because there is always something wrong with your work or performance. You spend more time in the meeting rooms explaining your work than actually being productive. Even if someone is given the job of being your mentor, manager still needs to sit down with you to go over the same thing mentor did 5 mins ago. CEO is the worst. I have no idea how this company is in business with so much attitude. I wouldn't recommend anyone to work at this place. Everyone I knew from Casale was either let go or they left.

Advice to Management

Its a family run business and there is no management / HR to talk to or give advice to.
