I worked at IGT for less than a year

Pros

Although my term was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this is one of the best places I have worked. Kept me busy and was able to work on my career growth. -Cafeteria food was well priced... and was a delight to eat compared to other companies and fast food franchises. -Superiors and Managers will work with you to get things done and not against you. -Certain departments have loose dress codes. -May endure heavy workloads, but this in every company especially when a product release needs to pushed out immediately. -Continuously working on making software architecture better to push a better customer experience. -Actual teamwork here between different teams to get up to par with one another. -Pay was competitive. -IGT handled COVID-19 pandemic very well compared to most other companies. There were many announcements, hand sanitizer dispenser around the building, notices in the bathrooms on how to wash your hands and prevent the spread. Contact tracing within the company.

Cons

-Getting through to internal IT support, especially during heavy requests may take up to 2-3 hours. -Due to the merger, documents and procedures are a bit shuffled, but it looks like its getting... better. Finding things may be a bit of a mess, but help is there when you need it.

Advice to Management

Work on the consolidation of the company as a whole.
