What Employees Say
I have been working at BrightTALK full-time for more than a year
The people at BrightTALK are what makes it so fun to work there. It's an incredible group of hard-working and very fun people in the office. There are lots of fun company activities and always a... group of people who will want to go for a drink or a bite to eat after work. It's also a very collaborative environment and stands up to its mission and values.
Webinars are an essential part of B2B marketing but BrightTALK hopes to grow the audience that actually comes to discover webinars on their own by logging onto BrightTALK.com. There are aspects of... the product that are exciting for marketers but not many people are going to come to the site to watch webinars for fun and I'm not sure that upper management can really see that...
I have been working at Fitbit full-time for more than 3 years
First thing I enjoy at Fitbit is the collective. The people here are the best of the best, not only professional but also at a human level, making the perfect atmosphere at the workplace. Another pro... is the fact that you have all the support needed to progress and learn new interesting technologies on the latest equipment. Happy Friday is another good thing here and also the treats you get daily at the office. Another thing is the flexible program and the extra 4 days of vacation added per year and also a free day on your birthday (or in the specific month). A huge pro for me is the career opportunities that i had since i joined Fitbit. Overall, Fitbit is a really great place to work.
There is no such thing as a perfect workplace. There are some small issues with communication between different teams from my own view. Sometimes it feels that we lack behind our competition with... innovation.
Advice to Management
As an advice, will be to try to communicate with the people working a bit more and to really struggle to make the employee feel that it's ok to say everything that it's not ok with him. Make him feel... ok that he can say anything without repercussions. But overall the management does everything it can to keep thins working as best as possible.
