What Employees Say
I have been working at Bloomberg L.P. full-time for more than 5 years
Combining the best of the financial and technological elements of the job market, Bloomberg is an excellent firm to work for. Driven by results, but with a fair work-life balance : allowing each... employee to adapt accordingly to their ambition and personal/family needs. Excellent facilities (their London office is the best in the world) and perks. Firm has a fantastic track record since its inception.
It could create an internal platform for innovative ideas; or partnering with employees launching new enterprises.

From a service standpoint, you'd be hard pressed to find a better job. The pay is very good, benefits are outstanding, there's freedom to do the job the way you want as long as you hit metrics. If... you work in the home office there is a good sense of community as well. During the coronavirus outbreak I have been very impressed by how accommodating and ahead of the curve our company has been instituting work from policies before many of my friends at "flashy" consulting companies. There's a clear way to differentiate yourself here through hard work. Management is open to new ideas and agile in putting them into practice. Bloomberg Law is an interesting product to support. It rewards those who take the time to truly understand its intricacies.
Near constant change and lack of communication from senior management can make it difficult to figure out what to prioritize and there is nothing close to a "standard" procedure.
