For the past year, my lunch break has consisted of shoving a salad into my face with my left hand while typing out Slack responses with my right. Yesterday, I actually closed my laptop lid for a full thirty minutes, sat by the window, and just focused on eating my food without any digital distractions. I returned to my tasks feeling significantly more focused and far less frantic than usual. Are you able to step away from your workspace for lunch, or is the desk-lunch culture too deeply ingrained?

How do you mentally transition from your strict routine to a vacation mindset without feeling guilty? I am heading out for a well-deserved, ten-day beach vacation next week, and a part of my brain is genuinely anxious about losing my fitness momentum. I’ve been on such a consistent lifting and tracking streak that the thought of unregulated hotel buffets and no barbell rack is making me twitchy.

Has anyone here done intermittent fasting? I kind of want to give it a go, but my first meal wouldn’t be until noon and I’m worried being hungry will hurt my morning productivity.
