My wife and I are traveling to Greece for the first time end of July. Flying into Athens on 7/28 and back out on 8/4. We plan to head immediately to Naxos for 3 nights and then come back to Athens. We’ll likely do a day trip to Corinth, Delphi, of Meteora (but I know that’s a long way). A couple of questions. 1, any recommendations on places to stay in Naxos? 2, for those of you who have been, is there anything you would say we HAVE to do? 3, anything you did that wasn’t worth it?

      Facility Social Worker II
      3mo

Here are some truthful tips for any social worker out there who apply for a job with Fresenius, Don't accept a position for less than 60,000 yearly. They will low ball you. Also, do not expect to be treated well at this company, unless you are a Nurse or a PCT. They do not value social workers, dieticians or secretaries and they make huge differences between our disciplines. PCT's require a high school diploma and they make as much or more than social workers with master's degrees and a license!

I write this because it comes up often in one form or another. If you’re young and figuring things out, learn some basics and enjoy a lifetime of great food. Olive oil, garlic, olives, capers, cherry tomatoes, maybe some red paper, mash it all up. Better to use spaghetti for this but I only had rigatoni. Add some water from the pasta and pecorino cheese. You have this great dish that costs almost nothing and tastes better than 90% of what you get in a restaurant

Anyone here looking for exit opportunities to a completely different non-corporate field? I am so burnt out I am just done with the corporate AI hellscape my job has become. I am looking to start a legit farming co-op based on what they do in Italy. smallish dairy or meat farms own the whole value chain and make much more money than traditional American industrial farms. Let me know if anyone is interested. Already have a few people interested.

I’ve visited close to 40 countries, just not Italy. I’ve been running away from it but it’s catching up to me. I can get a direct flight to Rome, but the tourist crowds, safety, and pickpockets have turned me off, and I like going to countries not packed with tourists. I’ll go in March (which will still be busy) but want to explore quieter places. I love Italian wine and food so will be happier in calmer spots

Hi everyone, I’m currently working as an Quantity Surveyor in Qatar and I’m planning to move to Italy for career opportunities. I would appreciate any guidance on QS or commercial roles there, including required skills, whether Italian language is necessary, how difficult it is for non-EU candidates to find jobs, and any advice on how to improve my chances. Thank you in advance for your support.

Must see cities in Italy for my 30th bday trip with my bf. We will be there for 12 days. So excited about going but nervous since we always do Spain and Portugal. I’m excited to visit Italy but notice most people only go there once but repeat other countries Is it because it’s more expensive compared to our European countries? Also I’m avoiding Positano and lake Como.

How’s Veeva Professional Service Team? Anyone from Veeva systems who could share any insights? Currently working at a client with Veeva products and been approached by professional services team so wanted to hear any thoughts in terms of work like balance, pay range and growth opportunities.

Anyone ever hear of the CRM Veeva? Why use it over Salesforce Health Cloud? Saw a pharmaceutical client of mine recently choose Salesforce over Veeva. Veeva seemed kind of clunky in comparison and I hadn’t heard of it until it came up in vendor selection.
