I was excited to hear I had gotten a job at DataAnnotation. It was the first job I had in 2 years that wasn’t mowing baseball field grass. Only to find out that they fired me 3 days after I started. No warning, no due process, just a blank screen where my projects used to be that’s says my account is suspended due to poor quality work or terms of service violation. I feel I didn’t deserve this treatment. Has anybody else worked for this company and got the kiss of death like I did for no reason?

I recently completed an assessment for DataAnnotation.tech, where I can earn money reviewing/annotating AI prompts (as a side gig waiting for my next full-time role). The assessment was quite detailed and took around 2 hours to complete. I really enjoyed the experience, however it's been 3 weeks and no response. Always nerve racking when your information is now out there... Has anyone in this group successfully worked with this site and if so, how consistent was the work? Thank you!

I’ve been in the Data Annotation industry since 2021 and have successfully completed a wide range of projects across data labeling image 🖼️, video 🎥, and text 📝 annotations and computer vision task like 📌 Image classification, 📌 Object detection, 📌 Segmentation 📌Lidar . Talking with my wife about different concert experiences recently resulted in me having an epiphany. I've been working with data in education for the past few years, but I think I want to shift my focus into music data analytics to help artists determine which cities, venues, and playlists would get the best turnout and response from a touring artists crowd. I’ve been charting so much lately that I feel like a data entry clerk instead of a nurse. Yesterday, I spent over two hours documenting one admission... clicking boxes, repeating the same info in three places, just to stay compliant. By the time I was done, I barely had time to actually talk to my patient. Anyone else feel like documentation has spiraled out of control? What would really help?

Does anyone have any advice for someone wanting to get into Data Science as a Career? I have a diploma of Higher Education in Physics and 6 years if experience working in finance across various areas. I have done as many free courses as possible but without paying or going back to university I am struggling to find a way in, Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
