I never sell stuff to friends and did a charity registry for my own wedding instead of gifts. Fintech Digital? Ever hear of this company? I applied to a job at Fintech Digital, didn’t get it but the COO and also the talent director (?) reached out and asked me to make a profile on their freelance bench website called CrowdFi. Now they want to schedule a video call. Seems like a lot of trouble to go through to scam me but also it all seems incredibly odd. Anybody else?

I don't have a car, so my commute is based on public transit. I would love to carpool in with someone from the office but I'm not sure how to find someone. Going around the office asking people about it seems friendly but time consuming. But posting a request in one of the Team chats seems less likely to get a response. Anybody have any suggestions on how to approach this?
