What are the steps to becoming an EPIC analyst?

I know you need to go through EPIC certification, and that can be really spendy. And it helps if you have a background in tech.

First, make sure your employer sponsors EPIC certification. Without that, you might not even be able to get certified. It's especially good if you work in management and/or with EHRs. From there, get a BA in computer science, IT, or something similar. Then ask your employer to sponsor your cert. This is the path my sister took anyway,
