Lots of staff functions and 40% off for you and whoever you’re eating with. Amazing discount Compared to most places in the industry!

40% off on food and non alcoholic beverages. You can also take up to three people to dine in with you. Staff meals are very cheap and good.

Great staff deals for food. I would have extras to take home every day. Tips were good too working in the kitchen.

I never received benefits because I could not get scheduled enough hours to qualify. The carrot on the stick.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Guest Service Manager in Montreal, Quebec

There are no RRSP matching, the health/vision/dental package is great - my whole family uses my plan. Vacation time is decent and flexible when asking for time away. be prepared to work on popular holidays - given the nature of the business

Part time staff don't receive benefits. As a server its next to impossible to work enough hours (and maintain that) to qualify for benefits.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Food Server in Ottawa, Ontario

The problem is most of these benefits including dental and life insurance is only available to full time employees. As a server you can only work max 5 shifts a week. And shifts are normally 4-5 hours long. Hence it is physically impossible to get full time and hence benefits
